Three rooms,

The Jafari family
Production heritage · A technical eye · An independent path
Mehdi and Ali Jafari now carry that experience into Albini, an independent house that brings specialist furniture making and architectural joinery under one roof.
For us, making starts well before the first cut. It begins with the brief and the specification, then moves through the choice of construction, close control of the details, and a hard look at the finished piece.

Every piece starts with proportion, set out with compass and rule before any timber is chosen.
Each profile is drawn by hand onto the raw board. The pencil decides where the saw will go.
Legs and spindles are turned on the lathe, then finished by eye until each one matches its pair.
Upholstery, gilding and nail-head trim, fitted and checked piece by piece in our own workshop.
