Furniture made, interiors built

Albini designs and makes neoclassical and postmodern furniture, and builds the joinery that finishes a room: doors, wall panelling and bespoke interior woodwork.

01 · Albini

Two trades, one workshop

Albini is an independent maker of neoclassical and postmodern furniture. We also make the timber elements of an interior, built to a project's drawings: doors, wall panelling and bespoke joinery.

A sofa to a client's own dimensions and a set of panelled doors start the same way. We work out how the piece should be built, choose the materials, make it accurately, and check the finished work against the drawings and the specification.

We work with architects, interior designers, private clients and sales agents. Each commission begins with a design, a technical specification and the realities of the site, and ends as something that can be built, delivered and judged on its finish.

02 · The Jafari family

A family that knows the workshop

Albini grew out of the Jafari family's years in the furniture trade. That experience was earned in production, on the workshop floor: learning how a piece goes together, and which small details decide whether it lasts and sits right in a room.

Mehdi and Ali Jafari now carry that experience into Albini, an independent house that brings specialist furniture making and architectural joinery under one roof.

For us, making starts well before the first cut. It begins with the brief and the specification, then moves through the choice of construction, close control of the details, and a hard look at the finished piece.

Albini is that way of working, with a name and a design identity of its own, and a single focus on how well things are made and installed.

Mehdi Jafari · Founder
Furniture manufacturing & product development

I started in furniture long before Albini existed, working directly in production. Years in the workshop taught me how furniture is built: its frames, its materials, the way its details are made, and the point where a good design meets what can actually be made.

My experience isn't confined to one stage of the process. Knowing how things are built, how production runs, and how proportion and detail work together shapes the way I review and develop every product.

With bespoke furniture, the look of a piece is only one test. Its structure, its materials, how the details are made, the quality of the finish and the way the parts meet all have to be judged together. That is how I make decisions on every Albini piece.

I founded Albini to build something independent: a house where hands-on production experience sits alongside product development, a clear design identity and the specialist needs of our clients and their projects.

Today my work is developing the Albini range, improving how we make it, and building relationships with architects, interior designers, clients and trade partners, in Iran and abroad.

From the drawing
to the finished piece

We take on bespoke commissions, design collaborations and interior fit-out projects. Send us your drawings, technical specification, dimensions, preferred materials or a short description of the project, and we will look at what it takes to build, what the site requires and how we can work together.
